Aladdin version 2

Rave reviews for Towngate spectacular
20 December 2010

The Towngate Theatre production of Aladdin has been hailed as one of the best in the region both by customers and critics alike.

The annual pantomime starring Simon Fielding has had packed audiences in stitches since its launch on 1 December, and critics have agreed, giving the production a range of glowing reviews.

These include leading entertainment publication ‘The Stage’ who compared the show to a West End production describing the production as a “credit to the whole on and offstage team.”

Theatre Manager Graham Sandford said “We have had fantastic feedback from customers who have seen the show and the critics who have come in to see the performance have all been very positive. We feel that this is the best Towngate pantomime yet, and if you haven’t seen it yet, there really is something for children and adults alike!”
